Every month, FOX 44 & the LHSAA recognize a student-athlete or team that embodies a great sportsperson on and off the field of competition with our #DoRight4LA Sportsperson of the Month Presented by Dudley DeBosier.

This month, Pearl River High School’s Paytin Lee exemplified this award, after helping form the bowling team at the high school. Lee also shows off her hard work outside of the bowling alley, with a 4.15 GPA.

She also received the honor of being the lone girl’s youth ambassador in 2019, of applicants from across the country, by the United States Bowling Congress. The distinction “recognizes exemplary contributions in the sport of bowling outside of league or tournament play, academic accomplishments and community involvement,” according to bowl.com.
