Investigators are looking for two men who robbed two employees of Bogart’s Daiquiris at gunpoint, according to the Lafayette Police Department.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Nov. 22 in the 100 block of 14th Street.

Corporal Paul Mouton said the two victims had just left after closing the business for the night when, “two armed male suspects emerged from behind their vehicles.”

The suspects stole the business’s money bag and keys from the two victims. Both suspects allegedly fired their pistols as they headed north on Evangeline Thruway.

The two victims were not injured. Cpl. Mouton said the suspects were described as, “two black males wearing all black with their faces covered.”
