The Diocese of Lafayette tells News 10 that they are investigating a racially charged post on social media by at least one student at St. Edmund Catholic School in Eunice.

Several News 10 viewers sent us the post expressing anger as it spreads on social media.

The post reads, “Happy MLK Day” with a photo of students and fried chicken.

News 10 contacted the Diocese which confirmed they are investigating and will release more information Tuesday.
