Hannah McKenzie stars for the Rayne High Volleyball Team, and the senior has embraced not only a position change, this season but her role on this team as a leader.
She says the best part of the team isn’t how well they play together on the court. It’s the chemistry the Lady Wolves exhibit every time out.
“That’s the thing we have this year! We all come together as one, and we play as a team,” she says.
Rayne High Coach Stephanie Garret believes her selflessness is why the team has flourished, in 2018.
She says, “She’s a really good hustler, a good team player, and if she’s on her game, she’s our little motivator.”
Hannah helps lead a Rayne High Team that’s been through a bit of struggle this season, but as of late has found its stride., especially in district play.
Hannah tells us, “We’re 7-1 in district and you know we had a lot of downfalls, but we picked it up and we play as a team, and we just all around have fun on the court.”
Hannah and the Lady Wolves eye the post-season as the regular season nears an end.
