The summer-like heat and humidity weather continues for Memorial Day as we stay mostly quiet across Acadiana.  A warm morning will be followed by a hot and humid afternoon as temperatures climb into the lower 90s.  The heat index is expected to range in the upper 90s to lower 100s for much of the afternoon.  A few pop up showers and storms are also possible during the second half of the day but rain chances are only around 20%.  By the end of the week and for next weekend, isolated to scattered rain looks more likely for the area.
