Lafayette, La. (KLFY) A 31-year-old Lafayette man has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.

According to Lafayette Police, the images were found on a cell phone belonging to Seth M. Burch.

Burch surrendered to police following a search of his home where police located the cell phone.

He was booked and charged with 180 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles.

Police Spokesperson Cpl. Bridgette Dugas said an investigation began following a tip.

Burch has a $180K bond.
