LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) There will be a school supplies giveaway with free food Monday at Girard Park.

Items to be given away include backpacks, school supplies, and uniforms.

The event is hosted by Diaira Guilliam and starts at 11 a.m. under the Girard Park Pavilion.

School uniform donations will also be accepted.
