ABBEVILLE, La. (KLFY) — Update April 28, 2021: The boil advisory has been lifted.

Original post April 26, 2021: Southeast Waterworks in Abbeville has issued a boil advisory due to a water main repair.

The boil advisory affects residents who live on:

• East La. 330 from the Delcambre town limits to the Bayou Tigre metal bridge
• Country Drive
• Bayou Tigre Rd.
• Thibodeaux Rd.
• V’s Private Ln.
• Shady Lane
• Alex Rd.
• Boyance Rd.
• Renard Rd.

Residents should bring their water to a rolling boil for a full minute before consuming.
