UPDATE, 4/27/21: The boil advisory has been lifted, according to Mayor Julius Alsandor.

OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) — The Opelousas water system has advised that the neighborhood around Park Vista Elementary is under a boil advisory until further notice.

Residents should bring their water to a rolling boil for a full minute before consumption.
