UPDATE: The boil advisory for Mamou has been lifted.

MAMOU, La. (KLFY) — Officials with the Town of Mamou informed News 10 that, due to power failures in the town’s water plant, the entire town is under a boil advisory until further notice.

Residents should bring their water to a rolling boil for a full minute before consuming.
