UPDATE, 3/24: The boil advisory has been lifted for areas along W. Broussard Rd., Evagenline Grove Subdivision, Cross Creek Subdivision and Pellerin Rd.
LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (KLFY) There was a main water break late Sunday in the 300 block of West Broussard Road in Lafayette Parish.
As a result, officials say, the water will be shut off along Pellerin Road in the Cross Creek Subdivision and the Evangeline Grove Subdivision, and also east of Touchet Road.
A boil advisory is in effect and will be lifted when crews complete the necessary repairs.
