The Upper Lafayette Economic Development Foundation will host an education-focused luncheon with the Landrys of TM Landry College Prep.

The event will be held at the LITE Center on Aug. 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This small school for children from low income families placed 10 students in top tier schools last year, including Harvard and Yale, and they are moving from Breaux Bridge to a new location within the Northgate Mall.

Their story on CBS “This Morning” is here, and in the Washington Post here

Todd Mouton of Pugh Family Foundation will also provide an update on the foundation’s work in schools around the parish— particularly elementary schools in Upper Lafayette.
