EatLafaytte has highlighted Acadiana culinary for the past 14 years, featuring over 100 local restaurants.
The campaign helps local restaurants bring awareness to eating locally as they compete against chain companies during the summer months. It’s a summer-long celebration of Lafayette’s local restaurants that takes place each year from June to September.
Diners are treated to specials offered by some of the EatLafayette™ restaurants as well as culinary events throughout the campaign including the Taste of EatLafayette™ kick-off and Sip & Savor which pairs courses with cocktails. With over 100 locally owned eateries ranging from Cajun, Italian, Mediterranean, Asian, BBQ and everything in between you can be sure there’s something for everyone’s taste buds.
Around 60 restaurants will kick-off the campaign.
Cooking alongside these restaurants are some of Louisiana’s top chefs, all competing to win the Louisiana Seafood Cookoff. The event is presented by the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing board in conjunction with the Louisiana Restaurant Association.
