The Fête de la Nature festival will be held on Saturday April 13, 2019 from 11 AM to 5 PM. It’s located at:

Fête de la Nature festival is a family-friendly event inviting all children and families to celebrate Acadiana’s special natural surroundings, through art, music, food and science. This free event will include all sorts of fun nature inspired activities such as: planting a meadow, edible insect tasting, food workshops, creating an heirloom vegetable garden, arts and craft activities from recycled materials, catapult building demo, Fertilizing with Comfrey Tea workshop, tree adoptions, build blue-bird houses, vegetable, fruit, flower plants sale, native flower sale Companionship Gardening with the Three Sisters garden workshop and more!

A benefit crawfish boil will be run by Chef Colt Patin of the Culinary Institute of Baton Rouge.

Music will include performances by: 
12-1:30: Forest Huval Band
2-3:30: Latino Pulse

Cecilia Primary 1st Grade French Immersion Class under the direction of Valérie Thériez  at 11:30 & 4:00

Pop-up Art Exhibition: Bio-artist Hunter Cole
New Orleans-based artist and scientist Hunter Cole, formerly known as Hunter O’Reilly, is recognized internationally for producing work that is inspired by science, but lives as art. Cole ’s art includes paintings, photography, digital art, and living art using bioluminescent bacteria.
