LAFAYETTE, La. (The Advertiser)- The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Association honored Acadian Ambulance founder Richard Zuschlag at its annual spring gala. Spouse Elaine Zuschlag is a USL nursing school graduate and the Zuschlag family has been a supporter of the University.  

The event took place on March 30 at the Alumni House and featured very special guest, former Vice President Dick Cheney. Cheney and Zuschlag have been friends since 2006.
