ORIGINAL POST: LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Lafayette Police say one person was killed in a crash Monday afternoon on Louisiana Avenue.
Police Spokesperson Sgt. Matthew Benoit said it happened just before 5 p.m. in the 3100 block of Louisiana Avenue near Ardoin Memorial Drive.
The crash involved two vehicles. One person is confirmed dead, Benoit said.
Two other people received minor injuries, he said. No additional details were immediately available.
