Satellite and radar shows a disturbance moving in from the east.  Moisture will continue to move over Acadiana today with periods of heavy showers and storms.  

Estimated rainfall totals are 2-4″ inches with isolated areas receiving over 5″ inches of rain.  

In the spot that see the higher totals there could be flash flooding issues.

Tonight temps will fall into the 70s with temps rebounding near 87° tomorrow as we will see scattered showers and storms as the main system moves into Texas.
