(The Daily Advertiser)–  If you’re overwhelmed by the idea of preparing a full Thanksgiving spread, consider ordering ready-to-go turkey and trimmings from an area grocery store or restaurant.

Some of these spots offer full meals for just a few or the whole crew at a flat rate, while others offer everything a la carte, so you can get a ready-to-go fried turkey but still make your own sides and pies.


And although Copeland’s of New Orleans, a classic holiday meal spot, recently closed its Lafayette location, there are plenty of other options available.

Peruse the options, but don’t take too long to make a decision. You’ll want to get your order reserved early.

1. Bon Vie Kitchen

This local company offers single- and family-portioned meal delivery for those looking to eat healthy or meet certain dietary standards.

Bon Vie is also offering healthier holiday options a la carte.

2. Bread & Circus Provisions

This funky restaurant offers meats, sides, desserts, soups and salads available in different portions a la carte, so you can mix and match to make the perfect meal.
