Greensburg, La. – A 17 year old female from Albany, La. was killed in a single vehicle crash on La. 10 near Greensburg Tuesday afternoon.
According to State Police, at approximately 2:40 p.m. Lacie Marie Randall was traveling westbound on LA 10.
Police say her vehicle suddently exited a left-hand curve, and entered the eastbound lane. That’s when, police say, the vehicle overcorrected and left the road.
The vehicle then hit two culverts and overturned several times, police said.
Randall was unrestrained at the time of the crash, according to police, and was ejected from her vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Helena Parish Coroner’s Office.
An 18-year-old female and a 13-year-old juvenile were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and sustained minor injuries, according to police.
Impairment is not a suspected factor and an investigation is on-going.
