WASHINGTON (AP) – Police say two people have been killed and seven injured after a shooting at a community event in the nation’s capital.

The shootings occurred Saturday a little after 8 p.m. during a community concert in the Anacostia/Barry Farm area of Southeast Washington.

Metropolitan Police on Sunday identified the two men killed as 31-year-old Scorpio-Rodney Alonzo Phillips and 18-year-old Zoruan Otto Harris, both of Southeast Washington. Both were declared dead at the scene.

The injured include an 8-year-old boy, four adult men and two adult women. Police said the injuries suffered by those who survived are not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.
