Two people are dead in a head-on collision crash at the intersections of Derek Road and Cordell Road in Vermilion Parish.

The crash happened just after 7 p.m. Sunday.

So far, state police have not identified the deceased.

A spokesperson with LSP confirmed with KLFY that investigators are still at the scene as of 10 p.m.
