Two people, including a 5-year-old, were injured in an afternoon crash involving 2 vehicles in Lafayette.
Police responded to the crash in the 600 block of Louisiana Avenue.
Police say that a 5-year-old and a 19-year-old in one vehicle were injured in the crash.
The 19-year-old suffered minor injuries.
The 5-year old suffered moderate injuries and is currently in the hospital, according to police.
No one in the other vehicle was injured.
