CHARENTON, La. (KLFY)- Several agencies are involved in a drug investigation that led to the arrest of one man and the seizure of 2.3 pounds of marijuana on Tuesday.

Kevin Hebert, 25,  of Charenton, was arrested by the Chitimacha Police Department  for a felony Tribal charge of unlawful distribution or intent to distribute unlawful drugs. 

He was booked in the St. Mary Parish jail

The investigation is still ongoing with other agencies and will lead to further arrests in the near future.
