Get ready for a huge new batch of emojis coming in 2019.

Unicode Consortium, the governing non-profit that approves emojis, has given the nod to 230 new emojis coming this year to major platforms.

One emoji in particular, called the “pinching hand,” is making news.  We’ll let you figure out how!

The major update expands on representing more people, including folks with various disabilities, a “gender-inclusive couple,” and a wider range of skin tones.

“Emoji 12.0 is comprised of 59 distinct new emojis; 75 when gender variations are taken into account; and 230 new emojis when all skin tone options are also included,” Emojipedia posted on their blog.
