LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – A vehicle crashed into a Lafayette daycare this evening sending three children and one adult to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Lafayette Police.
The crash happened around 4:45 p.m. at the Sugar N’ Spice Daycare in the 100 block of South Beadle Road.
Police spokesperson Karl Ratcliff said the vehicle was at the daycare to pick up a child when it accidentally crashed into the building.
The adult was injured after being struck by the vehicle. The three children were injured from falling debris.
Ratcliff said none of the injuries were life-threatening.
