During the past month, deputies have been investigating a rash of vehicle and residential burglaries spread throughout the parish, Acadia Parish KP Gibson said

Though many are still under investigation, deputies have made four arrests involved in recent burglaries.

Arrested were the following:

Toni Jones, 27, of Crowley: three counts of burglary

Cody Segura, 31, of Crowley: four counts of burglary

Sonja Fontenot, 52, of Church Point: one count of burglary

Christopher Barnard, 43, of Church Point: one count of burglary

“Our personnel have been working diligently to solve the recent burglaries within the parish. Though these arrest are just a handful of the cases we are investigating, it is a step in the right direction. I applaud our deputies for their commitment and hard work,” Stated Sheriff KP Gibson.
