CROWLEY, La. (KLFY)—The Acadia Parish USDA Service Center that houses the Farm service Agency (FSA) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) office has announced that it will be reopening at a temporary location.

According to a news release, the temporary location will be 424 E. First Street, in Crowley. The new location will open on September 13.

The office’s hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A spokesperson with the office said for disaster assistance, to file a notice of loss, other farm program information emergency loan or for farm loan information to contact the staff at 337-783-2061 Ext. 2.

To contact the NRCS staff regarding conservation technical and financial assistance, call 337-783-5823 Ext. 3.

A news release stated that the NRCS Watershed Planning Office will still be housed at the Estuarine Habitats and Coastal Fisheries Center located at 646 Cajundome Boulevard, Suite 180 in Lafayette for now. To contact staff members of NRCS call 337-291-3060.
