SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) –

The mother of a 6-month-old Natchitoches toddler and another woman allegedly involved in his burning death face an additional charge. 

Levi Cole Ellerbe’s mother, 22-year-old Hanna Nicole Barker, and 25-year-old Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith each now also is charged with one count of criminal conspiracy.

Barker was booked Wednesday on a charge of principal to first-degree murder in connection with her son’s death.

Smith was booked over the weekend on one count of first-degree murder.

Barker is being held in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.

Smith is being held in the Richland Parish Jail in Rayville.
