BUTTE LA ROSE, La. (KLFY)- The body of a 46-year-old Opelousas man was recovered Thursday evening near the Butte La Rose boat launch.
At about 5 p.m. Wildlife and Fisheries agents were called to the area after a man was reported to have fallen off his jet ski and never resurfaced.
His body was found 30 minutes later not far from the launch.
He has been identified as Robert Lee Julien Jr., of Opelousas.
His body has been turned over the St. Martin Parish Coronor’s Office.
