Family and friends gathered Friday afternoon to lay the former Loreauville Mayor Al Broussard to rest. The mayor perished following a two-vehicle crash April 3rd.  The wreck happened on highway 86 by Lake Teche Road in Iberia Parish. Broussard’s fiancé, Phyllis Savoy, remains hospitalized in critical condition. Another person suffered from moderate injuries as a result of the crash.
