PORT ALLEN, La (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) – UPDATE: All lanes are open on I-10 East after a crash caused major delays and closed a portion of the interstate.

According to officials with the West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, the driver of an 18-wheeler ran into the back of a crawfish truck. Authorities said the driver of the 18-wheeler was not paying attention and was cited for careless operation of a motor vehicle.

The driver of the crawfish truck was taken to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries.
