NEW ORLEANS, La. (WWL-TV) – Ronald Gasser, the man accused of fatally shooting Joe McKnight in Terrytown on Thursday, has been jailed on a count of manslaughter, Jefferson Parish records show.

JPSO jail roster lists Gasser as an inmate booked on a manslaughter charge. Gasser has admitted to killing Joe McKnight.

According to JPSO, Gasser shot McKnight three times from inside Gasser’s car near the corner of Holmes Boulevard and Behrman Highway last Thursday, December 1.This is a developing story.

JPSO is scheduled to hold a news conference at 10 a.m. with updates on McKnight-Gasser investigation.
