Shoppers living in Louisiana will have another opportunity to save big this upcoming weekend.

The Annual Second Amendment Weekend Sales Tax Holiday will take place Friday September 4th through Sunday September the 6th. Shoppers can buy firearms, ammunition and other hunting supplies without having to pay the state or local sales tax. Hunters can also save big on off road all-terrain vehicles and air-boats used for hunting.

Mark Leblanc, Director of Operations at Barney’s Police Supplies says they are stocking up on firearms, especially with the start of hunting season just around the corner. He said folks are definitely getting their ducks in a row before buying anything. “We had a lot of window shopping, scouting out, checking to see what we did have in preparation.”
