A man suspected in an Abbeville murder was caught by police.

Nicholas Wilson was arrested in Jeanerette late Thursday night. 

Abbeville Police say the New Iberia man was wanted in connection with a deadly stabbing at 216 Sucre Circle. Officers say they found the victim with multiple stab wounds in their back and chest.

Authorities say Wilson went to the victim’s home where he argued with the victim and then stabbed the victim numerous times. 

Wilson is being held  on second degree murder charges.
