A Franklin woman is behind bars in connection with a 2-year old murder.
Raquel Matthews, 26, was arrested last week on the charge of accessory after the fact to first degree murder. Her arrest stems from a October 2016 homicide. During an investigation in 2016, police found a 16 year old male victim was killed in the area of Augustine Maze Road.
Police say they received information in regards to evidence that was disposed of at the time of the incident. After further investigation, police say they discovered that Matthews allegedly disposed of the evidence.
The investigation continues at this time.
