The family of a man shot and killed in June is is pleading for a fair trial they hope will bring justice to his alleged killer.
De’Lanzo Veal, 48, was shot and killed during a birthday party on June 24 in Evangeline Parish, authorities said.
Brandon Perkins has been charged in his death.
Perkins’ next appearance in court is scheduled for Feb. 21, 2019.
