The nonprofit organization, “Back the Blue of Acadiana”, will be holding a Poboy fundraiser sale to support Acadiana’s law enforcement.

Deputy Darlene Noel from the Lafayette Marshalls Office says “We need a lot of help here because it’s going to be kind of costly and since we’re a non-profit organization we need a lot of donations.”

The sale will be held on March 16th from 10:30am – 2:00pm at the corner of Johnston St. and Roselawn (across Arnould Boulevard in the parking lot near MidSouth bank). The price for a sausage poboy will be $7 and will include chips and a bottle of water. Visitors are advised to look for a Zeus trailer that will be located on the vacant parking lot.

The proceeds of the fundraiser will send law enforcement officers to the National Police Memorial in Washington D.C.
