Acadiana Mall closed on Thanksgiving Day again this year. Doors reopened at 6 a.m. on Black Friday for doorbusters, giveaways and great deals from everyone’s favorite retailers.
This year’s Black Friday festivities are as follows:
• The first 150 people in line at Santa’s Workshop (between Main Entrance and Center Court) will receive a mystery retailer gift card, amounts vary. One per person, ages 18 and older.
• Gumbo Entertainment will be pumping out the jams and giving away hourly prizes from 6am-2pm! Shoppers can enter for a chance to win these prizes at the DJ Booth in Center Court (ages 18 and older).
• Lafayette Coca-Cola will be on-site inviting guests to try out their special HUG Machine. When guests give the vending machine a big hug, it will dispense a complimentary 12oz Coke product.
• Guests will be encouraged to visit a selfie station, located near the DJ Booth. Guests can get creative with the props, snap a pic and share the fun on social media.
