SUNSET, La. (KLFY)- UPDATE: The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s has identified the body of Donny Jacobs, 58, of Sunset.
The department said additional information will be released following an autopsy, which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, 2020.
ORIGINAL: The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a body found in a ditch along Chretian Point Road near Sunset.
The case is under investigation and no other details are being released.
If foul is suspected, St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said he will release additional information as it becomes available.
