The boil advisory issued yesterday by the Lafayette Parish Waterworks District North (LPWDN) due to a waterline break caused by a lightning strike is still in effect.

LPWDN customers affected by this advisory include all residents on the east side of I-49 commencing at the 500 block of Brasseaux Road westward to its intersection of the I-49 service road as well as customers residing north of Brasseaux Rd to the Lafayette/St. Landry parish boundary.

This advisory also affects those LPWDN customers located on the west side of I-49 commencing at I-49’s intersection with La HWY 182 northward to the Lafayette/St. Landry Parish boundary.
