ST. MARTIN PARISH (KLFY) – A suspect wanted in a shooting that happened Sunday morning on Bourbon Street in New Orleans has been arrested.

New Orleans Police, with assistance from the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, Lafayette Police Department, ATF and Louisiana State Police, obtained a warrant for Jordan Clay, 20, for Second Degree Murder.

Officials say Clay is currently in police custody in St. Martin Parish and will be extradited to New Orleans.

A second suspect that is currently not identified is still wanted. New Orleans Police are still investigating the shooting.

The Daily Advertiser reports Clay already faces charges in Lafayette from January for illegal possession of a stolen firearm, a .357-caliber revolver. He is scheduled for a pre-trial court date in Lafayette in March, according to Lafayette Parish court records.
