LAFAYETTE, La.- (KLFY)- City Marshal Brian Pope’s trial is set to begin Monday.

Pope is charged with seven felony counts, which includes five counts of malfeasance in office and two counts of perjury.

According to The Daily Advertiser, Pope’s attorneys want the district judge to give special instructions to jurors in his felony trial.
