The Broussard Police Department has a new Assistant Police Chief.

Chief Brannon Decou posted on his Facebook page congratulating Lieutenant Chris Galvez on his promotion to Assistant Chief of Police.

According to Decou’s post, Galvez has been with Broussard Police for 12 years and has many certifications – including a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
