CARENCRO, La. (KLFY)— Carencro Heights Elementary School held a career fair with a twist.

The school hosted a “Career on Wheels” event where companies brought their vehicles to the school, including police vehicles, a cherry picker, motorcycles, a tow truck, and more.

Companies brining their vehicles out to the event allowed the young students to see everyday aspects of the different jobs up close and hands on.

Principal Nicholas Thomas said the community was more than happy to help teach the kids.

“Careers on Wheels” is a two-day event which will roll on from Oct. 27-28 with more wheels to show off to students.
