CHARENTON, La. (KLFY)-  A Morgan City man will appear before a federal magistrate today on one count of sexual exploitation of children.

Travis Singleton was arrested by officers with the Chitimatcha Police Department at his Leona Steet home Saturday in an investigation that remains ongoing, Chief Hal Hutchinson said. 

The Department of Homeland Security is assisting in the investigation.
