(New Orleans, La.) UPDATE: Agents with the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries recovered the body of a missing 5-year-old boy from the Intracoastal Waterway Sunday morning.

According to the LDWF, agents found the body of 5-year-old Ethan Hancock, of Houma, in the Intracoastal Waterway on July 31.

Agents first received a call around 11:40 p.m. on July 30 that Hancock was reported missing.
