TEPETATE, La. (KLFY)—The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Deputies checked out a report of a fireball at a gas plant in Tepetate.
A news 10 viewer sent up the photo.
Sheriff K.P. Gibson said the company was doing a controlled gas release and there was a fireball, but no explosion.
Acadia Parish deputies went to the plant, talked to officials, and told the sheriff everything appeared to be okay.
