District seven Lafayette City-Parish Council-woman Nanette Cook — held a town hall to discuss the future of the Lafayette Utilities System.
The town hall with LUS was held at Le Pavillon at Parc Lafayette.
Council-woman Cook and the interim LUS director Jeff Stewart addressed several topics…including operations, the electric system’s future, customer engagement opportunities and where the company is going in terms of energy production.
Cook says the town halls are being done to encourage customer engagement.
