Lake Charles, La. (CPSO)– When detectives questioned LaFleur, he confirmed he had sexual intercourse with the victim.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a call, on March 6, 2019, at 7 a.m. to a home on Hodges Street in Lake Charles in reference to a runaway juvenile that was located at the home.
Upon arrival detectives learned the 15-year-old girl, who had been reported missing during the early morning hours the same day, was at the home with Bobby J. LaFleur, Jr., 43, Lake Charles. During further investigation it was learned the girl had previously met LaFleur at his place of employment and they exchanged phone numbers. Detectives were advised LaFleur picked the girl up from her home the night of March 5, 2019, and brought her to his residence, where they had sexual intercourse.
He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Bond is still pending.
