The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a woman on Ranch Road. 

Sheriff officials haven’t released many details of what they believe happened.

Sheriff Spokesperson Eddie Thibodeaux has confirmed with News 10 that the victim was stabbed to death and that a male suspect is at a local hospital being treated for injuries. 

Although detectives have not released any information about the person who died, their investigation is still active.
